Sunrises

I am more inclined toward enjoying evenings than mornings, just ask my family. :) Even so, each time I see a sunrise hinting across the sky, I pay attention. I find myself taking several photos, because I’m never quite sure when the colors will be at their height. I love the fresh promise of a sky streaked with shades of yellow and pink. My favorite moment is when I put the lens down and become more aware of deep stillness in me. Enjoying these sunrise skies feels like true worship.
